Py\u00f6riv\u00e4 suodatuselementti erottaa puhdistetun veden elementin sis\u00e4lt\u00e4 ulosp\u00e4in. Vedest\u00e4 suodattuva kiintoaines ker\u00e4\u00e4ntyy rummun pohjalle kerrokseksi, josta se huuhdellaan rummun tiivistymisaltaaseen, jossa se suodattuu painovoimaisesti. Suodatinelementin pesu jatkuu varsinaisen elementin hienopesulla. Gammasuodattimessa on kaksi k\u00e4sitellyn veden ulostuloa, ensimm\u00e4inen ulostulo on py\u00f6riv\u00e4n elementin suuntainen ja sinne suodattuu noin 10-15 % k\u00e4sitelt\u00e4v\u00e4st\u00e4 vedest\u00e4, toinen on vastakkaissuuntainen ja sinne suodattuu noin 85-90 % vedest\u00e4.\u00a0 Ensimm\u00e4iseen ulostuloon suodattuva vesi on kiintoainepitoisempaa kuin taas toisen ulostulon vedess\u00e4 p\u00e4\u00e4st\u00e4\u00e4n korkeampaan suodatusasteeseen.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><a
